Last night I went to see William Shakespeare's
A Midsummer Night's Dream by the Auckland Theatre Company at the University of Auckland's Maidment Theatre. It was a very enjoyable production - you can
read a full review here. There really is something quite wonderful about being in an audience that laughs at jokes that were written over 400 years ago. Despite our computers and the Internet and satellites and all the changes in society, humour shows that essentially we are still the same people.
