Driverless cars would reshape automobiles and the transit system
I've
blogged about Google's driverless cars before
but my colleague,
Bob Doran
, pointed me towards this interesting article in the Atlantic:
Driverless cars would reshape automobiles and the transit system
. The gist of it is that being autonomous will change our relationship with the car, which will consequently change in form and function to match. The Atlantic article is itself a summary of a more detailed piece by Brad Templeton called
New design factors for Robot Cars
.
